THE PRESENTATION OF THE SPIRIT
Three months now.
This time, a dark blue asks to enter as the first impulse.
It bathes everything.
That is how I feel.
An orphan in the middle of the night.
From the darkness of the canvas, two central figures begin to reveal themselves.
They gaze toward something not yet visible.
Then three more figures appear to the left and to the right.
They too look toward something at the center of the painting.
It is not until the next morning that I see what they see.
A figure of feminine essence intertwined with a figure of masculine essence — they seem to be royalty of the spiritual world, for they carry a halo of light like a crown.
She holds against her chest a figure of light that resembles a newborn.
The impression is that father and mother are presenting their newborn to the angelic beings.
Three figures with royal crowns appear to be departing after giving their blessings.
As I sleep, I realize that the newborn is Her, and the image shows me that she is already home and has been presented to the celestial world.
My soul smiles knowing she is in good hands, beginning again.
