# Profile — Lourdes Tomás Rubio

A difficult question. I think my paintings can answer it better than my words.

My name is Lourdes Tomás. 

I am 52 years old. Mother of three children. 

I deeply love my family and my friends.

I am a doctor by vocation. 

Writer, communicator, dreamer and entrepreneur. 

Since childhood I have dreamed of creating a revealed project: homes for being well born, living well and dying well. 

I imagine them as part of a community with free schools, cohousing to live the golden years in a new way, ecological gardens and a social integration cooperative. 

I think I will need more than one lifetime. 

I move naturally in subtle worlds. 

In recent years, I have discovered that painting is medicine for the soul and that color opens doors to subtle worlds, allowing us to enter them and discover the truth of our existence.
